FEMA has approved more than $25.6 million for Mississippi households after Tropical Storm Arthur, across 7,455 approved applications. State officials counted 532 homes, 17 businesses and 5 farms damaged there. Like Louisiana's, the Mississippi total was still rising in mid-October, four months after a storm that never became a hurricane.
