Thailand's cabinet approved another 10.51 billion baht ($312 million) on 20 October to compensate about 1.48 million households flooded since September, after claims outran the 4.7 billion baht approved on 29 September. More than two million households have applied for 15.8 billion baht in all; over 5 billion baht has been paid.
